The brewing of Mc Douglas beer respects a noble process from which high-quality beers are produced. For each of the beers that make up the range, our master brewers have developed an original recipe, giving each an authentic character and unique flavor.
Like the river Dubglas, the water used in the brew is known for its exceptional purity. The noblest of natural raw materials are carefully incorporated into the brew, including rare spices, malt, Poperinge hops, roasted barley and other ingredients, which are carefully selected and blended to obtain subtle and distinguished notes.
Spearheading the brand, Mc Douglas Scotch Ale characterizes the art of brewing according to Mc Douglas. Long years were needed to develop this special beer – born in bright moors, in the middle of Loch Fyne and Scottish castles, the Scotch Ale is so generous, with its white foam a creamy contrast to its dark brown elixir. The bitterness achieved by its aromatic hops is combined with a sweet mixture of toasted malts that makes it irresistibly warm.
