Mc Douglas Celtic Lager

Mc Douglas Celtic Lager is a light blond beer ready to quench the most demanding ofpalates. Although easy to drink, it does not however deny its conquering origins. In the style of Anglo-Saxon lagers, it reveals all its qualities through a delicately creamy white foam and light colour, suggesting more pronounced yellow highlights.

In the mouth…

A lager built on a soft, light tone. From the first sip, there is a slightly soft side of vanilla that covers a round but not excessive bitterness. It leaves a pale malt flavour, which makes it a very refreshing drink.

Mc Douglas Strong Lager has a malty nose with aromas of caramel and grain. The carefully selected yeasts release spicy notes, while its bitter taste is deepened by a high alcohol content that warms the palate – the alcohol offers a sweet side, that is very pleasant in the mouth, and the finish is dry and slightly persistent.

Mc Douglas The Lord’s Old Highland Scotch Ale is the original recipe of the well-known Mc Douglas Scotch Ale and is a Belgian Scotch Ale of great tradition matured in wooden barrels with a caramelized tone and a ruby color with a generous foam. Our brewers worked 10 years on this recipe in order to meet market requirements and satisfy our Belgian’s high standards of quality. This product is actually still known in Scotland as “3BR” (in reference to Brussels).
