Mc Douglas Strong Lager has a malty nose with aromas of caramel and grain. The carefully selected yeasts release spicy notes, while its bitter taste is deepened by a high alcohol content that warms the palate – the alcohol offers a sweet side, that is very pleasant in the mouth, and the finish is dry and slightly persistent.
Mc Douglas Celtic Red is a strong amber beer, with the reddish colour of brave warriors’ blood. Its feeling is direct and precise, but spicy and dry, whil its full flavour is a subtle caramelization that bounces back in the mouth, rather like a soldier rises, with its dark amber suit reflecting the beautiful purple scenery of its origins.

Mc Douglas The Lord’s Old Highland Scotch Ale is the original recipe of the well-known Mc Douglas Scotch Ale and is a Belgian Scotch Ale of great tradition matured in wooden barrels with a caramelized tone and a ruby color with a generous foam. Our brewers worked 10 years on this recipe in order to meet market requirements and satisfy our Belgian’s high standards of quality. This product is actually still known in Scotland as “3BR” (in reference to Brussels).
